I actually built this engine and ran it last weekend. First I went to my local Chevrolet dealer and bought a 350 4bolt brand new bare block with main caps, cost $730. However, that casting number could be a 4 bolt 302, a 2 bolt 327, or a 2 or 4 bolt 350. To be a 302, it has to also have the DZ code, IIRC.
