WebThe purpose of this course is to introduce students to cryogenic engineering principles. The course is suitable for students with an undergraduate degree in physical science or engineering. It should provide the student with a working knowledge of the field for particle accelerator or other large scale applications. Prerequisites WebWe are responsible to deliver the large scale superfluid helium cryogenic system for the future Superconducting Radio Frequency (SRF) Linac, PIP-II. In addition, the Cryogenic Sector also supports various mK cryogenic systems, utilizing cutting edge dilution refrigerators for Dark Matter Quantum Sensor experiments and Quantum Computing R&D.
