With 3 bedrooms, full kitchen and bathroom, TV and A/C, it made for a relaxing stay. The food was all homemade and delicious. Perfect location, close to the water and the fishing great. We caught bass, rock bass, pike, pickerel and perch. Can’t wait return. WebNov 12, 2024 · I've been going to Fernleigh Lodge for 83 years!! Never, Never a disappointment. Was strictly a fishing/hunting lodge in 1938, having been built and opened by John and Gert Ahr in 1932 - I was three on my first visit. Needless to say it's changed a bit, but many of the refurbished cabins have some basic log cabin construction.
