I cleaned out the cartridge filters and afterwards it fired up as normal. Later it the day it wouldn't ignite again just the same loud buzzing/humming sound. The 11" is a nominal, and used for distance/diameter estimates of the supply tube in the manual, but the device is designed to work at a theoretical 3" WC pressure (same page).
