Pytorch output_padding
WebMay 27, 2024 · With padding =1, we get expanded_padding= (1, 0, 1, 0). This pads x to a size of (1, 16, 33, 33). After conv with kernel_size =3, this would result in an output tensor of size (1, 16, 31, 31). Shouldn't we pad (1, 1, 1, 1) evenly on all four directions (left, right, top, bottom), so that the spatial size would be preserved?

WebDec 5, 2024 · Just to save some basic mental calculation to anyone wondering how are the two formulas given here the same: eg. dilation is 1 by default so when you multiply -1* (kernel_size -1) then you get (-kernel_size +1) so the +1 cancels out with the one outside the parenthesis and you get the formula below. – Samuel Rodríguez Sep 14, 2024 at 13:31 i look at life from both sides now lyricsWebPads the input tensor boundaries with a constant value.
